LucidaClub is reimagining the retail experience for the Cannacurious — those consumers who are not comfortable exploring cannabis in the current retail model.

As we head towards our launch this Summer, we are expanding our team of experts, who will help us realize this exciting opportunity.

Business Development Consultant

The Business Development Executive position will be responsible for building the network of licensed cannabis retail partners through which LucidaClub members will satisfy their curiosity.

Reporting to the CEO, this is a new and pivotal position that will operate at the intersection of our dispensary / retail partners and our platform. The right person will be highly knowledgeable about the dynamics and regulations of the cannabis market in Massachusetts, the challenges facing recreational retailers, and the operational systems retailers use to manage inventory and retail transactions. As important as a strong base of market knowledge is to this position, the right person will bring a systematic approach and strong research skills to identify new partner opportunities.

Operationally, this position will be on the frontlines, establishing and nurturing our relationships with dispensary / retail partners. The ability to quickly assess the fit of the LucidaClub offering with a retail partner and assess the fit of a retailer with LucidaClub brand values will be key. The ideal candidate would exhibit very strong attention to detail, task ownership, and follow-through.

Applicant Profile

The ideal candidate person will know the cannabis industry in Massachusetts, will have existing contacts with decision-makers at dispensaries around the state, and will have a successful track record of selling systems and / or services into this market.

Applicants must demonstrate a strong ability to organize and execute a business development effort in MA and to create a robust model that LucidaClub can use in expanding into other states in the US and Canada.

The candidate should be located in Massachusetts or otherwise able to be an in-person team member of LucidaClub, which is based north of Boston.

Initially this will be a part-time position and as we grow this may change.

Hours and salary would be discussed in person.
